Create your first bot

A new bot asks you for three things: a face, a name and a title. Everything else you tell it in the conversation.

  1. Start a new chat and pick Create new bot at the top of the list, or type a name nobody has yet and choose Create “…”.

  2. Pick a face, a name and a one-line title — for example Blog Pulse, “Reviews the site every day and reports what changed”.

  3. Tell the bot its job in the chat:

You are Blog Pulse, the daily reviewer for our blog. Every morning, check what was published and summarise anything that changed.

The bot writes this into its own instructions, and can rename or retitle itself. Each change shows up as a note in the thread; an instructions rewrite keeps the previous text in that note.

  4. Keep going in the same conversation. Ask it to turn a procedure into a skill, connect a plugin, or set up a routine.

New bots use auto, which today picks a single default model. You can pin a bot to a specific OpenAI or Anthropic model under Advanced in its details pane, or through the API.
